The exterior of this iconic luxury address in Milan is so understated, that you might easily overlook it—but it’s destined to be the city’s next big destination. Just a 5-minute walk from the high-end boutiques of Via Monte Napoleone including Dior, Goyard, and other luxury brands, the residence offers unbridled access to Milan’s premier shopping district, with the added comfort of retreating to ultra-cosy rooms after a day of indulgence. If you’re in a touristy mood, the Duomo di Milano is a quick tram or cab ride away.
The Rocco Forte House in Milano is designed to be a home away from home for discerning travellers in the Italian fashion capital. The building features just 11 exclusive residences for both short and long-term stays. From the hotel's roof, you can see the beautiful Duomo and the financial district. There is a beautiful courtyard of the hotel, which is reserved exclusively for guests. It's not accessible to outsiders, making it an exclusive oasis in the bustling city of Milan.
Space | Rooms and Facilities
Behind the courtyard is the hotel's reception, but the guests actually spend most of their time in the apartments. The apartments feature a variety of styles, from more modern decor on some floors to classic yet contermporary styles on other floors, ensuring there’s something that everyone loves. There’s lots of storage space, making it perfect for longer stays. The setup of these rooms also makes it perfect for families because you can leave the doors open and still have some privacy. The bedrooms feature luxurious marble bathrooms, some featuring lush bathtubs.
Vibe | People and Experience
Service is discreet yet helpful. While the apartment-style setup means certain hotel amenities, like 24-hour room service and a front desk, are unavailable, the team goes above and beyond to assist. Once the Rocco Forte Hotel in Milan opens, guests will have access to those facilities as well. The team was incredibly helpful in arranging transport and restaurant reservations and scheduling boutique appointments, and when Dior delayed a delivery, they even sent someone personally to receive it on our behalf.
Taste | Food and Beverage
Food and beverage options are limited, but each apartment is equipped with a full-sized kitchen, offering the option to hire a private chef. Guests can order breakfast as a cold hamper or arrange for a private chef to prepare a tailored in-room breakfast. The kitchens feature top-of-the-line appliances and can be pre-stocked with groceries, ideal for those who prefer to cook themselves or travel with their own chefs.
