The Place | Location and Setting
Marbella Club Hotel boasts the best location in Marbella, situated on the prestigious Golden Mile. This prime spot provides easy access to luxury shopping, and refined dining, and is a favourite among the creme de la creme of Marbella. The Hotel also offers a delightful shopping experience within the resort, featuring renowned brands like Chanel, LV, Bottega and Christian Dior. While the shops may not be large, they boast a curated selection for some retail therapy. The hotel's 70-year history is evident in its central positioning, with one side facing lively dining and shopping areas and the other opening up to the beach, offering guests the best of both worlds.
Space | Rooms and Facilities
The hotel exudes old-world charm with its cottage-style architecture, avoiding tall buildings for a more village-like feel that is distinctly Spanish. Upon entering, guests are greeted with a homely ambience, reminiscent of stepping into a private residence. The reception area maintains this traditional charm while incorporating modern elements for a seamless check-in experience. The property is divided into distinct areas, each with its own character and amenities, such as Casabel, El Cortijo, Santa Margarita and more, offering a variety of accommodations from deluxe rooms to lavish villas suitable for large families.
Vibe | People and Experience
The staff at Marbella Club Hotel are exceptionally hospitable, ensuring a warm welcome and a comfortable stay. Despite a small wait for the room to be ready, the experience was enhanced by personalized service, including transportation to the room via golf cart for convenience.
Taste | Food and Beverage
While Mr Sanjay primarily experienced the breakfast offerings, which were extensive and included a delightful array of Spanish cuisine, the hotel also boasts a trendy bar and an inviting outdoor dining area including El Patio for all-day dining in a magical courtyard, the Beach Club with its vibrant 1950s Acapulco ambience, and The Grill for heart-warming cuisine by crackling fires. El Olivar at the Garden Pool provides an intimate spot for healthy Andalusian fare, while Rudi's is a timeless Bohemian lounge for champagne and tapas. La Bodega offers wine tastings and storage, and the Summer Bar is perfect for pre-dinner drinks and live music. You can also enjoy more dining options in Puente Romano, just a 10-minute walk away, which has renowned establishments like Cipriani, COYA, Gaia and also, Nobu.
