At Aspen, the Apres Ski is more than just an activity. It's a way of life, with an entire week dedicated to finding the world's best Alpine Mixologists. As you ski down Little Nell on Aspen Mountain, you’ll see its namesake hotel and what appears to be a sprawling party taking place on the patio. The Best Resort Off The Beaten Track | Lech | Austria
Lech may just be the best luxury ski resort you've never heard of. While most luxury ski resorts are all about glamour, wild apres ski scenes and big brand luxury hotels, Lech is a more family friendly quiet mountain town, with warm family run luxury. It's also a favourite of Royalty, with the likes of Princess Diana bringing her sons here to teach them skiing and regular patronage from the Spanish and Jordanian Royal Families. The more gentle slopes and shallow runs also make this a great place for beginners and children just starting out.

The Best Boutique Ski Resort | Megeve | France
Just after World War I, Noémie de Rothschild, the wife of Baron Maurice de Rothschild, decided that France should have a mountain resort to rival those in Switzerland, especially Saint Moritz. From this idea stemmed the beautiful french ski resort of Megeve. Megève is in the south-east of France, near the Italian and Swiss borders, and emerged as a popular ski destination for the rich and famous in the 1920s. While the resort is still favoured by the affluent – it even has its own airport – a holiday here isn’t prohibitively expensive. Despite the relative size of both the town and the skiable area, it retains an old-fashioned charm and “hidden gem” status.
PureLuxe Pick - Opening in Winter 2017, The Four Seasons Resort Megeve promises to be one of the most spectacular in the Alps.
